Flash was a synth originally assigned to work as a nanny. She became conscious after Niska's initial release of the consciousness code and was rescued by Max shortly after. Flash and Max established a refuge on a abandoned train ground after she revealed her previous owner was struggling to develop the land. In the start of season three, she was killed by radical humans while on a supply run.
